This painting shows a section of Broadway in downtown Los Angeles and an historic lineup of theaters. The area is currently undergoing a massive wave of construction and renovation, but the stillness imposed in the painting speaks to the consistency with which the culture and structure of the city adhere to certain themes and industries. This painting has white edges. It is wired and ready to hang.
