Based on a personal photo, this work benefits from a restructuring which enlarges the barn and reduces the size and importance of the road in the composition. The paint is applied thickly and with only minimal detail, and the trees and other elements on the sides are distorted to further direct the viewer\’s eye to the center of the piece. Other than the light in the sky, most of the hues have been reduced in intensity to suggest the day\’s end. Arrives ready to hang.
