Artist Srinivas Kathoju demonstrates an expressionist landscape in dreamy hues of purple. He divides the composition into three segments. The fields represent the foreground with thick paint imparting texture, the horizon represents the middle ground blending the different elements, and the cloudy sky serves as the background, says Srinivas. The loosely painted brush strokes create a whimsical perspective as the sun sets.
