This painting is another in an ongoing series of works by the artist featuring museum goers and galleries. The focus here is on the knowledgeable Grandfather who is elaborating on a Renoir painting in the Wallace Wing of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC. The painting encompasses the relationships between generations by the juxtaposition of the live figures and the painted ones in the Renoir.
