Coastal wetlands are a haven for wildlife and to artist, Nancy Hughes Miller, a place of endless inspiration. This painting features a moody sky with clouds in shades of blue floating over vibrant marsh grasses. Blue and green are the colors of the marsh landscape and my favorite combination to paint, says Nancy. I create marsh scenes from my memory, observation and imagination, taking me and I hope those who see my paintings to a tranquil place.
